Scholarships Awarded
The Nicole Megaloudis Foundation awarded six scholarships before the DC United v. NY Redbulls game.
The Nicole Megaloudis Foundation
Nicole Megaloudis, a member of the VCU women’s soccer team, passed away Febuary 9th, 2004. Her mother and friends created the Foundation to honor Nicole’s memory and the good deeds she did for others. The Foundation was established to assist students who hope to continue their athletic endeavors at the collegiate level. Scholarships are awarded on a ’need’ basis. Additionally, students must be involved with community service and demonstrate leadership qualities. In addition to scholarships, the Foundation is working to make Nicole’s dream of helping children in other parts of the world, become a reality. Its mission is to help students realize their dreams and to allow Nicole’s memory to live on.
